“Most People Were Silent”, solo show at Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore

“Most People Were Silent”, my solo exhibition on nuclear weapons, originally a commission for the Nobel Peace Prize / Nobels Fredssenter | Nobel Peace Center, will open at the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore on 20 July, in a installation of video and still images suspended from screens.

It’s been a pleasure working this new installation of this work with ICA curator Caterina Riva, thinking alongside and exchanging ideas and notes. Thank you Caterina and also ICA director Bala Starr.

Friends in Singapore, hope to see some of you at the opening on 20 July Friday evening, or at the artist talk and discussion I will do on 26 July with National University of Singapore‘s Southeast Asian studies head Itty Abraham, who studies nuclear and security issues. Looking forward to a multidisciplinary discussion!
